A Brief Look at the Real Estate Market in London and Area

[Its reported that Stephen Leacock, the Great Canadian Humourist, once said, "If the world were to end tomorrow I'd rather be in London (Ontario) because nothing ever happens there until 2 weeks later."]

Not only is this one my favorite stories about London but it reinforces the general impression that London is very conservative.

Look again. London and the Southwestern Ontario region offers sports, entertainment, culture and activities for the whole family that are the envy of people everywhere. Look at the "About London" links on this Website for just a sampling of what's available.

For anyone living in London or planning on buying here, there is a benefit to this conservatism that we all appreciate; it's called "security". London is a wonderful place to live or raise a family. Our labour markets are stable. Our Real Estate prices are stable and predictable. We don't suffer through sharp increases and decreases in prices. London isn't perfect but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
